Dear BAMIT Community,
A quick reminder about our new campaign this year. In case you missed our earlier message, BAMIT’s 2026–27 goal is not about dollars raised—it’s about engagement. We are aiming for 500 contributors, because every name on that list strengthens our collective voice at MIT.
If you have already donated, thank you. Your support truly makes a difference.
If you haven’t had a chance yet, please contribute here: DONATE. Any amount—large or small—counts toward our 500‑contributor goal. What matters most is participation.
Your engagement helps sustain programs that directly support Black students and alumni, including:
- Black Graduate Celebration
- Ebony Affair
- Fly‑in support for accepted students
- K–12 STEM outreach
- Admissions advocacy and EC recruitment
- Community visibility with MIT leadership
In these economic times, and with our efforts facing increasing pressure nationwide, your involvement ensures that Black voices remain heard at MIT. The more engaged we are, the more influence we have with administration and admissions.
Please take a moment to contribute—and encourage a friend or classmate to do the same. Every name matters, and together we can reach 500 contributors.
Thank you for being part of the BAMIT community.
Warm regards,
BAMIT Board
