Open House OME 50: Honoring Our Legacy, Embracing Our Future

MIT’s Office of Minority Education (OME) is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. We’re excited to celebrate OME’s important legacy and, looking ahead to the organization’s next chapter, introduce the new Office of Academic Community, Empowerment, and Success (OACES, pronounced “oasis”).

Please join us as we celebrate OME’s 50th during this year’s Alumni Leadership Conference (ALC). We will welcome ALC attendees and other alumni back to campus with an OME50 Alumni Open House -

The Open House will be held in the brand-new Undergraduate Advising Center in Building 11, right along the Infinite Corridor. (We’re also planning a second, larger OME celebration for April 2026)

We’re thrilled to have an opportunity to celebrate with you and the OME alumni community this fall.
