BAMIT TRAVEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PROGRAM COST EXCLUSIONS: 
The trip price does not cover trans-continental airfare, passports/visas, vaccinations, medical expenses, travel insurance, optional excursions, airport transfers outside of group arrival/departure, baggage fees, meals not listed in the itinerary, laundry, communication costs, room service, or other personal expenses.

PROGRAM SIZE: 
This exclusive trip for BAMIT members and guests is limited to 30 participants, filled on a first-come, first-served basis. A minimum of 15 participants is required for the trip to proceed. BAMIT may invite additional guests and reserve the right to cancel if the minimum is not met.

PAYMENTS:
The registration fee is required to secure your booking and is non-refundable. Failing to make trip payments on time as stated in the program will be considered a cancellation.

PARTICIPANT CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:

  • 91 days or more before departure: 30% of the trip price is non-refundable.

  • 90 to 61 days before departure: 50% of the trip price is non-refundable.

  • 60 to 46 days before departure: 65% of the trip price is non-refundable.

  • 45 days or less before departure: 100% of the trip price is non-refundable

TRIP INSURANCE: 
BAMIT strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected events such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost luggage. BAMIT and its partners are not liable for any losses or expenses incurred before, during, or after the tour.

PASSPORT, VISAS AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
For international travel, participants must be in possession of a valid passport with an expiration date within at least six months of the return date of the trip, and with two clear pages available for visa stamps. Travel visas must be obtained as required for the country visited, as well as the country’s requirements for proof of immunization.

WHAT TO EXPECT / PHYSICAL HEALTH:
Participants must be in good health and able to manage the physical demands of the trip, including independent movement on and off transportation, climbing stairs, and stepping over thresholds. Those needing assistance must travel with a companion who will provide the necessary support. Please consult your doctor and inform the trip operator of any dietary restrictions well in advance.

CHANGES IN ITINERARY, PROGRAM, STAFFING & COSTS: 
BAMIT reserves the right to modify itineraries, dates, staff, or accommodations as needed. Participants are bound by the cancellation policy and terms, regardless of any changes. Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in fuel costs, airfares, and exchange rates.

APPEARING IN PHOTOS: 
Photos taken during the trip may be used for promotional purposes by BAMIT or shared online by other travelers. While BAMIT will attempt to notify participants in advance of using their photos for promotion, no compensation will be provided.
